Summer Camp – Movie Maddness

event

Lights, camera, action!

Movie Madness Summer Camp is a 4-day summer experience where students get to play hard, laugh a lot, make new friends, and create their own movies with a team. Every day is packed with games, activities, worship, a short message, and small group time. It all leads up to an epic finale where students walk the “red carpet” and premiere what they made.

What students will do:

  • Join a team and create a short movie together during the week
  • Pull fun movie prompts, plan scenes, film, and edit
  • Play high-energy games and movie-themed challenges
  • Take part in worship and a daily Bible lesson that connects to the week’s theme

The week will follow the story of the Bible in four parts: Creation, The Fall, Redemption, and Restoration, with a reminder all week that Jesus is the main character.

Week flow (at a glance):

  • Day 1: Script and planning
  • Day 2: Filming
  • Day 3: Editing
  • Day 4: Premiere day (movie presentations)

Daily schedule (approximate):

Check-in, games, lunch, message, small groups, activities, checkout.

Parent notes:

  • This is a structured, supervised day camp with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities.
  • Final details will be sent out ahead of time.
